ORBIT TVET COLLEGE LEARNERSHIPS

Orbit TVET College invites unemployed youth between 18 – 35 years to apply for welding learnership opportunities. The programme will take place over a period of 24 months.

ORBIT College is one of 3 public TVET Colleges in the North West Province. The specific focus of public TVET Colleges is to address the skills shortages in SA, by offering relevant and responsive vocational and occupational programmes.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of N2 or NC (V) Level 4 Certificate (in the respective field)

Applicants must have passed the following subjects:

Mathematics (N2)
Engineering Science (N2)
Plating & Structural Steel Drawing (N2)
Welding Theory (N2)

OR

Life Orientation – NC (V)/Level 4
English L4 x Mathematics -NC (V)/Level 4
Applied Engineering Technology – NC (V)/Level 4
Engineering Fabrication – Boiler Making/Welding – NC (V)/Level 4
Engineering Processes – NC (V)/Level 4
Professional Engineering Practice – NC (V)/Level 4
